Flash Play Factory (ages 9 and up)

8 Week session runs July 13-August 31.

The Flash Play Factory is a fast-paced, creative writing class where students ages 9 and up learn how to write their own short plays from idea to finished script. Designed for young storytellers, this class breaks playwriting down into fun, manageable steps that make writing for the stage exciting and accessible.

Students will explore the essentials of dramatic writing, including character development, dialogue, conflict, and structure, while learning how to tell a complete and engaging story in just ten minutes. Through guided exercises, brainstorming activities, and short writing prompts, they’ll practice generating ideas quickly and shaping them into strong theatrical scenes.
